      <description>&lt;p&gt;It&amp;#8217;s actually a &lt;strong&gt;Voronoi Treemap&lt;/strong&gt;, something that Michael Balzer and Oliver Deussen came up with to address some of the issues with existing tree map layouts. Their &lt;a href="http://www-hagen.informatik.uni-kl.de/~kerren/courses/lecture/ws06/infovis/papers/VoronoiTreemapInfoVis2005.pdf"&gt;InfoVis 2005 paper&lt;/a&gt; gives some good insights into these issues.&lt;/p&gt;
