Blogging about the Science Blogging Conference

How do we go about blogging during the Science Blogging Conference? I’m sure that there will be lots of blogging, but do we want to coordinate this in any way? We could for example have a signup sheet for all sessions so that interested bloggers can indicate which sessions they want to blog about.

I guess all we need is a unique tag for the conference and tags for the sessions, and let the social networking sites do the rest.
-
Yes, we’ll soon post something in this forum about what unique tags to use before, during, after the conference for blog posts, videos, photos, Twitter, etc.

Some suggestions are available from FriendFeed users: http://friendfeed.com/e/d582d80c-81d6-36f9-98a2-ad07edf5514c/Blogging-about-the-Science-Blogging-Conference-0/

So, we settle on #sciblog and #sciblog1, #sciblog20 for the sessions?
-
Yes, we’ve settled on using sciblog as the general, main tag for the conference. For specific sessions, you can tack on the number for the session.
-
To coordinate live blogging during the conference, why not use Scribblelive? Or a room on FriendFeed?
-
There already is a room on Friendfeed for the conference. Please join!
-
And what about twitter? Should I use #sciblog for my tweets during the conference? Any fellow microblogger here?
-
Yes, me, me…I’m addicted…the trouble is I keep thinking in less than 140 characters.
-
Clare, thinking in less than 140 chatacters is an art! And not an easy one.
I tried to find your twitter in your profile, but with no success. Mine is /baxt
