What other events do you know of that might be of interest to SciBarCampers? A couple of events that I already know about:
Any other suggestions?

None of these are very interactive, but they’re all free, publicly accessible, science-related and in Toronto.
Royal Canadian Institute Lecture series
Ontario Institute for Cancer Research public lectures
I tried to keep a public Google calendar of some of these events, but couldn’t keep up.

The BioTwitter community has instigated BioBarCamp which will be near SciFoo (both in time and location) but open to anyone who’s interested.
They have a Google Group with discussions. If you look around in the threads there you’ll see SciBarCamp’s own Jamie McQuay giving them lots of useful advice about sponsorship =)

Sabine, that sounds fascinating, but your link didn’t work when I tried it.

I’d like to invite all SciBarCampers to York University Libraries’s One Big Library Unconference! It’s on Friday, June 27th at the Centre for Social Innovation on Spadina.
