Duplicates

I have been using Papers for a while and really like it. It fills a niche which things like Devonthink and Eaglefiler can’t fill.
However, I have a problem. My machine at work(where I do most of my searching)is a PC. What I have been doing is downloading PDFs at work, then putting them on a flashdrive and taking them home to my Mac and copying them over. This works great, but I have been having a problem with duplicates. Like other people, when I run across a PDF that looks interesting, I download it. Sometimes this is the second time I have downloaded it. Hence, duplicates.
I know that when I match the papers the dup will be deleted, but is there anyway tha the program can detect when a duplicate has been added to the library?

Hi Jim, in the latest version of Papers it should do a better job at detecting duplicates, but unfortunately there’s no UI to display duplicates yet. This is definitely planned for the next major release.
