Looking for help with some demonstrator experiments using DNA microarrays

So, one way to find collaborations and help is just to ask. I’ve actually tried this request on my blog but didn’t have much success. I would guess the community here is better suited to this specific request for assistance so I will give it a go.
We have a method that seems to be good for attaching proteins selectively to DNA oligonucleotides. This has potential applications in protein arrays as well as in high sensitivity analysis and in nanotechnology. To publish a high quality paper we need to so some applications style experiments.
I am looking for anyone who is willing to help us prepare and carry out a couple of applications type experiments to give us enough meat to write a high quality paper. These would involve preparing some DNA arrays that we would then pull down differently coloured fluorescent protein-DNA conjugates onto. Happy to discuss any other cool experiments that would be fun to do as well. We don’t have the expertise or the kit to do do these experiments effectively. Authorship on the paper is obviously is part of the deal and the only other condition is that I would like to make all the results open.
See the original post for more details, including links to some of our preliminary data, or get in touch with me. This is as much as experiment in how we can use blogs and networking sites to do science more effectively as it is about getting the paper finished.

If you get any replies, make sure you tell us!
I think there is a microarrays group here at NN, so you could post this there too.

Ah, now that would be smart wouldn’t it? Might see how it goes here first. I’m kind of interested in whether I can find someone without actively searching them out if that makes any sense. Does this friend of a friend of a friend thing actually work?
