Hi Everyone,

I’ve been missing in action this past two weeks because I was on a holiday…

In recent months, I’ve been seeing a number of products in Japan with various ‘nano’ labels on them. I picked up one product recently and was thrilled to see some English on the back side! It read: ‘Nanometer is a billionth of a meter…’ and it goes on to explain how the face mask was a product based on nanotechnology.

I was just wondering if anyone knows if these products have some stamp of approval from any regulatory agency of some sorts. Or are they not?

How are these nano-based products regulated in Japan and how do the consumers feel about these products?

We are all consumers. Would you buy these things? Why and why not?
