Sorry for this question, but I would like a suggestion about a biomarker for tissue recovery/regeneration. In my assays, at the same time I suspect about apoptosis process and I will measure it using anti-caspases, I would like to detect cell proliferation, but for this I really have doubt about what is the best biomarker for cell proliferation until now. We have severals biomarkers reported in the papers, but what do you think to look for VGFR, EGFR or TGF-b in skin recovery (wound repair)?
