Succinate dehydrogenase complex activity assay

Im trying to find out if its possible to do quantity and activity assays for complex II, succinate dehydogense. No luck so far! Does any of you have knowlegde of any kits or methodes for doing quantity and activity assay?

    • Dear suppe,

      You can measure the activity with to different methods. One of them use a Clarke-type oxygen electrode to obtain the respiratory activity of the ETC (or ETs). The other way is to measure the change of absorbtion qhen it works. I recommend you this work:
