Today, on Earth Day, Google and Yahoo had beautiful new creative homepages filled with pictures of Earth/Greenery. Wish Nature India homepage was also as flexible. Besides creating awareness, it also takes away the monotonosity of life, filling it with zing!

Very good suggestion, Seema. Nature India is still in the cradle (it was born this February). I am happy you thought of us when you saw those designs. We are trying our best to live upto our users’ expectations. You will certainly see lots more happening at Nature India in days to come. Meanwhile, keep the ideas flowing. We value them.

Hi Shubhra, many thanks. I would certainly like to see Nature India always upfront and agile. As Arindam Chaudhuri has mentioned in his book “Count your chickens before they hatch”, Indians have a tendency to be complacent. So, it is necessary to keep members brimming with ideas and activity. Otherwise, we cannot go much far. I have been through some fora here at Nature India and going by the discussions, nothing concrete seems to emerge in terms of consensus solution. I think when the discussions seem to be coming to a close, the moderator should make it a point to note down all the main points and help us reach a conclusive decision, so that we are able to act in a pragmatic way and take science in India forward.
