    • I am glad to see this forum come up, and am interested in discussions on ecology and evolutionary biology (research) in India. I am particularly interested in the ecology and evolutionary relationships of fresh water fish in India. I am a novice in this area and would be delighted to meet and interact with experts.

Smithsonian fellowships and internships are awarded on the basis of these policies. Applicants are evaluated on their academic standing, scholarly qualifications, experiences, the quality of the research project or study proposed and its suitability to Smithsonian collections, facilities, and programs.
