Effective public policies may be the best weapon in the fight against obesity. A recent article in Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics reviews possible policy approaches including:
-providing information to individuals
-restricting the availability of unhealthy foods
-increasing the price of unhealthy foods
-regulating marketing of food to children
-instituting incentive programs at work and in schools
