Editorial internships at London-based journals a possibility?

Do Nature, Nature Cell Bio or Nature Reviews (basically the London-based journals) also offer internships to recently minted PhDs before they begin postdocs? I know the NY-based ones do. Just so people considering alternative careers can gain some real experience before committing fully and applying?

Thanks again,

    • Yes, we offer internships in these and other departments in the London office. Just check the NatureJobs site or classified pages in Nature, where we advertise these positions when they become available.

    • Hello! I’m actually an intern with Naturejobs at the moment. Myself and the other interns have found that the internships (at least this year) are more business oriented than editorial but I’ve certainly been given the opportunity to do some writing which has been great. I think the positions are advertised in the summer.

    • Thank you both. I will look out for the adverts in Nature over the summer. Although to be honest I am still at least two years from graduating with my PhD. It does take us a few extra years here in the US.
