      <description>&lt;p&gt;It would depend on the editorial position, as there is a range of seniority levels as well as a range of editorial jobs. &lt;br /&gt;We don&amp;#8217;t publish salaries when we advertise for positions, but they are certainly in line with publishing industry standards, and compare favourably with equivalent positions in academia. Your question is essentially unanswerable, though, because when we hire people at Nature, their salary will be determined partly by their experience and qualifications. Similary, there is a huge range in academic salaries, depending on country, funder, employer, experience level and so on.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
