Transplanted primordial germ cells produced viable gametes (and offspring!)

Primordial germ cells (PGC) were transplanted across species, even across genera, into zebrafish with host PGC inactivated by Dead End Morpholinos. Offspring were produced after natural spawning from gametes made by daughter cells of the transplanted PGC.
