I was just thinking about creating a german science-group of my own but you beat me to it. Technically I’m not a phd-student yet, but I hope that’ll change very soon. My field of work is molecular and cell biology and I’m very much looking forward to meet other young researchers from Germany here.

Hey Murali,
thanks a lot for the nice offer. You are right that electrophyiology isn’t exactly my field of expertise, but I would gladly look into the mentioned workgroups and their research subjects, do you have some links? Out of curiosity it would be intersting to see what you do, too.
By the way, you list mechano-sensitive channels as one of your interests, I find those pretty intersting; which particular channels would that be? -
Hi Nina,
right now u can try for the positions which were published on our website…
and you can also check our departments work and publications,,,,http://www.physiologie.uniklinikum-jena.de/Stellenangebote.html
here you can find details…
There are different groups of channels which are mechanosensitive for ex like TRPV or TREK and so on….
just check our Physiology department website..u can get an idea about our work… -
Thank you for the link Murali, I’ll have a look.
