I have just found a prolific method of producing prodigiosin from S marcescens. I am interested in enzymatic polymerization of this tripyrrole to via conjugated bonds to yield an electrically conductive material,which hopefully would remain biodegradable. Any clues on how to achieve the polymerization – enzymatically?
