Scientists' carol

As this time of the year is strongly associated with music, what should be the scientist’s theme carol?
It could be the actual words, (I can’t think of anything offhand, but the sort of thing I had in mind was the interpretation I always put on a wonderful line in Stainer’s oratorio ‘The Crucifixion’ where a tenor sings ‘Here I stand, in abasement,’ and I always want to shout ‘Whose basement?’) or it could be a subtle modification (‘While doctors spliced their genes by night…’ ‘I saw three quarks come sailing in…’ ‘God Rest You Merry, Scientists, let nothing you dismay/ For Nature’s words of wisdom are published on this day…’)
I suppose the climate change carol is ‘In the Bleak Midwinter.’
Silly, yes, but I’m already getting Christmas musak fatigue.
