Hello all,

I have started this group because i am nearing that point, the point that i think most scientists will be able to identify with, when we are faced with the uneviable task of actually deciding what it is we want to do with the rest of our lives. I am of course refering to the completion of my PhD. I have spent the last four years working in vascular cell biology. I had no particular interest in vascular biology when i started my PhD and if i am to be honest i have no particular interest in it now either. So i am hoping that with your help over the coming months i will be able to find my holy grail, my pet project, my lifes ambition! Where is science going and thus where should i be going? Please discuss and inform!
