I think that while the concept is interesting and allows us to envisage new hypothesis towards developing new cancer treatments, some scientists and the media have associated grand promisses to this concept (such as curative therpies would be possible by killing cancer stem cells). I think that we should become better communicators of success and not sell promisses that may or may NOT pan out!
