Hi All,
Recently, me and my colleagues at Emory University School of Medicine were successful in designing and generating a syntehtic collagen mimetic which seff-assembles into highly ordered microfibers. While the formation of highly ordered collagen-like fibrils, which display periodic features has yet to be achieved, we have for the first time shown that self assembly of native collagen can be emulated in the laboratory.

Any feedback/suggestions in this regard are welcome.
