I’m sure BU is breathing a sigh of relief. South End residents and the Conservation Law Foundation sued earlier this year to stop the construction of the infectious disease lab (including a biosafety level 4 lab that would work with dangerous pathogens) now underway in the South End. Yesterday, the judge ruled that construction can continue, according to the Globe, although she may still decide to stop certain projects.
