Best place to meet other scientists: Starbucks on Longwood Ave.

Best place to celebrate getting published in your journal of choice: The Squealing Pig (a pub near the Longwood medical area)

Best place to escape and decompress: The basement of the Countway Library of Harvard Medical School. There is rarely anyone there and they have Internet jacks at every desk.

Best place in Boston to live: Wow, I have not found it.

Favorite thing to do in Boston outside of work: Visiting the Fogg, Sackler, Busch-Reisinger, Peabody, and Natural History museums. (A Harvard ID card means free entry!)

Favorite restaurant: Pomodoro in the North End

Favorite pub/bar: Cambridge Brewing Company in Kendall Square

Favorite café: 1369 in Inman Square

What are your favorites in Boston? Post them here.

This is very interesting for me since I’ll be moving to Cambridge for 6 months and I’d like to be there and do that.
