\nWhat makes us human? 
  What gives us our powers of thought\, of language\, of planning\, of perce
 ption?  The intricacies of the human brain are now being looked at  examine
 d from a multi-dimensional approach bridging computation\, neuroscience\, l
 inguistics\, philosophy\, mathematics\, and psychology.  The Human Algorith
 m conference includes prestigious  renowned  figures Daniel Dennett from Tu
 fts University\, Patricia Churchland from UCSD and Salk Institute\, and Mar
 c Hauser from Harvard University.  These prominent minds\, along with disti
 nguished Dartmouth faculty\, will examine the most cutting edge knowledge o
 f how humans think\, how our brains make mistakes\, our history\, present\,
  and where we might be headed in the future.  Speakers will discuss work cu
 rrently underway to computationally analyze the rules that govern the human
  brain and human behavior.
