Description
This Environmental, Energy & Engineering Career Fair is one of the best opportunities to learn about environmental professions, and features EBC member companies, including regional leaders in environmental and energy engineering, consulting and law and policy, as well as government agencies
and non-profits. This event is complimentary for Job-Seekers.
In addition to meeting company representatives and possibly interviewing with them, hear from a panel of Young Environmental Professionals from 2:00 – 3:00pm who will give insight about their current jobs, in the government, public and non-profit sector, how they got there, and the do’s and don’ts they learned along the way.
Job seekers have two opportunities to interact with employers during the
Fair:
1. Information Booths: Companies will meet with job seekers in a more
traditional job fair format, where job seekers come by the information booth
and talk informally.
2. Informational Interviews: Companies will conduct scheduled 25-minute informational interview sessions throughout the day. Remember to bring your résumé!
Interview Request Procedures
Beginning on February 18th at 9:00am, job seekers will be able to go on-line and review the availability of interview timeslots with participating companies. They can then submit their request for interviews with two preferred companies to dpillion@ebcne.org (no phone calls please). Time slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis and will be confirmed via email.
On-line interview signups will close at 5:00 p.m. on March 5th. The up-to-date interview schedules for all companies will be posted on March 5th, at 5:00 pm.
Job seekers can sign up for remaining open slots with individual companies during the fair.
