Scientists will present new multidisciplinary research and share their scientific expertise at both 2007 national meetings & expositions of the American Chemical Society (ACS). The American Chemical Society is the world’s largest scientific society dedicated to a single discipline, with more than 158,000 members. In the spring, the society will hold its 233rd National Meeting & Exposition in Chicago, IL, from March 25-29, 2007. This meeting will be held at the McCormick Place Convention Center and more than a dozen hotels across the city. More than 12,000 scientists are expected to attend the spring meeting, and over 7,000 presentations are anticipated during the abstract submittal process, including one cross-divisional topic comprised of symposia that highlight important research advances in sustainability. In the fall, the society will hold its 234th National Meeting & Exposition in Boston, MA, from August 19-23, 2007. The meeting will be held at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center and more than a dozen hotels across the city. More than 13,500 scientists are expected to attend the fall meeting, with approximately 8,000 papers anticipated during the abstract submittal process.
