The Boston Medical Library invites you to attend the 7th Annual J. Worth Estes History of Medicine Lecture. This year’s speaker is David M. Oshinsky, Ph.D., Jack S. Blanton Professor of History, University of Texas. Professor Oshinsky is the 2006 Pulitzer Prize winner in the history category for his book, Polio: An American Story. The title of this talk is: “POLIO: A Look Back at America’s Most Successful Public Health Campaign”.
