Claude P. Lechene, from Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, will begin the conference at 1pm with his presentation titled, “Introduction to MIMS”. This will be followed by: “Quantitative Imaging of Free Fatty Acid Transport in Adipocytes” by Alan M. Kleinfeld of Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies in San Diego, CA; “Protein Renewal in Chick Tectorial Membrane” by Douglas A. Contanche of Children’s Hospital Boston; “Protein Turnover in Inner Ear Stereocilia” by David P. Corey of Harvard Medical School; and “Quantitative Imaging of N-fixation in Bacteria Within Marine Animal Cells” by Yvette Luyten of the Ocean Genome Lagacy Foundation in Ipswich, MA.
