This first annual conference will be focusing on cutting-edge methodology used in the fields of biomaterials, tissue engineering, stem cells, genomics, and BioMEMS. The meeting promises to be a stellar educational and networking event showcasing a comprehensive collection of academic research and development activities taking place in several NIH-sponsored Research Resource Centers. This meeting will explore exiting topics in biomedical engineering and biotechnology, which include some exposure to issues of intellectual property, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship.
