Sounds like the BBC missed the memo. Meanwhile Michael Bloomberg says “Terrorists kill people. Weapons of mass destruction have the potential to kill an enormous amount of people. [But] global warming in the long term has the potential to kill everybody…” But then, these days in the U.S., a day without a deep sense of alarm is like a day without sunshine.
Historic mini Ice ages may have been overcome, with tidal patterns of the gulf stream, modeled against a calendar , but who is keeping records. Underground living may be a new solution. I say “A stitch in time safes nine” . If intelligence can spur change teach someone what you know while you can. Eye to Eye, face to face, In person, empirically transcending, the consumption of intelligence, by the loss of documented history to those who write it, save it, and hord it for another day.
