A recent article in Chemical & Engineering News (published by the American Chemical Society) highlights a recent National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) report claiming nuclear weapons waste sites (e.g. Hanford, Savannah River) need more management staff. In fact, they recommend at least 200 managers be hired this year! The U.S. Department of Energy will be hard pressed to fill those positions if funding for environmental management programs keeps getting cut, but those in the environmental field may see some opportunities in the near future.

      Doesn’t this place look appetizing?
