Following on my previous post about Cafe Scientifique, news from the lovely Axis about Cafe Artistique, which they have been running since 2006 or so.

Though it sounds as though theirs are a little more dramatic:

Cafe Artistique was in Cardiff on 24 September, unfortunately without our guest speaker as Heath Bunting had been temporarily detained by Gatwick Police under the Terrorism Act. The discussion went ahead without him and explored artists working outside the artworld and what happens when intentions and meanings are blurred by the context in which they are presented.
