Life and Times of a permanently bemused British postdoc in exile.

One of the unforeseen benefits of living in Australia is that on Thursdays I get to read Nature at least 10 hours before my colleagues in Europe and the US (because I’m usually in the office when the RSS feed updates).

Okay, so it’s not a huge benefit, but still.

However, the downside of living in Australia is that the DOI server does not update with the Nature DOIs until Thursday night. So I have to trawl through the front page to get my weekly dose of Futures , which sort of defeats the object of RSS.

No doubt I will manage to survive these momentous impedimenta, somehow.
