The best one I found so far was four times silver :
- Silver S., Phung L.T., Silver G. 2006. Silver as biocides in burn and wound dressings and bacterial resistance to silver compounds. J Industr Microbiol Biotech 33(7):627-634
New Scientist’s Feedback section has an ongoing interest in this kind of thing. They’ve called it Nominative Determinism.
There is a name for everything! Stunning.
Read more about Nominative Determinism.
This is from Improbable Research blog, but it does actually appear to be true:
The American Council on Science and Health today presents the first Henry I. Miller Award for Excellence in Public Health Education to Dr. Henry Miller, research fellow at the Hoover Institution.
The press release is here.
I’m speechless.
Do I have to read this as the first Henry the first Miller?
A bit like the old song “Henry the Eighth” which goes something like:
I’m Henery the 8th I am I am
I’m Henery the 8th I am
I got married to the widder next door
She’d been married 7 times before
Every one was a Henery
She’d never had a Willy or a Sam
Oh I’m Henery the …..etc etc repeat ad nauseam.
