We are going to launch a new design for connotea next week, you can have a sneak peek here. This is running on our dev server and is not connected to the main connotea db, so don’t start using this site to bookmark things. If you have any comments do let us know.

It looks nice, closer to the Reports layout.
The dev version is still very much oriented at URLs, it seems, something someone recently blogged about. A search on ‘bioclipse’ finds multiple entries for the homepage, and two for the article. This requires me to browse through many more found results than strictly required. Clustering and dereplication is a must to me, as well as prioritization: papers should comes first, then webpages. The latter can be categorized according to domain, and non-front pages hidden behind a ‘related pages’ or ‘more from this domain’ link.
Hi Egon,
We are also working on the duplication problem. The new look came from one of our designers, and in parallel to that we have been working on some bug fixes and on getting a new release of the code out. The duplication issue is now the main thing I am interested in getting fixed.
I can’t access it at this time. Looking forward to see where it goes. I hope you get the duplication issues sorted out.
