On thursday night last week, there was a charity gig featuring four Macmillan-Nature bands at “The Cross Kings” pub.

Amongst the books stacked against the wall was “The Fourth Protocol” providing a rather cheesy/strained connection with work.

Incidentally, the fourth protocol that Nature Protocols published is for Tricine–SDS-PAGE and, most months, is the most downloaded from our site.

As always, the music was loud, but the bands were good and the interactions between the musicians pleasing. The performances were enjoyable and a good time was had by all. Being the lucky person to win the raffle prize was also cool. Thank you to the kind people of the JCC for organising the event (and my goodies!).
