      There is something of a tradition this time of year for those in the workplace to go a little demob happy (as a previous generation might have put it).

      So here’s a couple of ways to waste a minute on useless thought.

      First a teaser. The prize for the first person to post a comment with the correct answer is a feeling of smug superiority. If you wanted to catch a train in London where a crab says ‘hurrah!’ where would you be?

      Secondly, take a look at this – an old favourite, but still one of the best optical illusions around.
