Also, you might be a microbiologist if you see a sink and think that maybe you should wash your hands. Working with pathogens, it was not uncommon to see people wash their hands with the compulsion of a person with OCD…
You may be a microbiologist if every time you walk past a bottle of 70% ethanol, you just have to clean your hands with it.
