Feel free to consider me the most frivolous and ridiculous girl that ever lived, but (almost) more than anything else in my life, THIS makes me want to push to graduate this June. I may die of happiness in her presence.
I knew there was a reason I came to Harvard!
I would have thought Harvard would be too high-brow to invite the creator of Harry Potter! I wonder: what would be her advice to young graduates?
I don’t know if JK Rowling can be considered beneath Harvard. She is the wealthiest author that ever lived, coming from absolute zero. I guess you could say that she went zero to a billion in just under 8 years :) I think she has a lot of lessons to teach. Perseverance, planning, believing in yourself. I, for one, have always considered her a role model.
I agree Anna. Although I have not read any of her books or even seen the movies, I must admit she has something to teach.
One can have a great idea and not really know how to take advantage of it or handle the tremendous fame like she did. I’d be interested in hearing what she has to say :)
