I’m nearing the end of my labwork (just a few more months), and of course just when I thought I was done troubleshooting everything something unexpected came up. This time I asked the internet for help, right here on Nature Network , and I got a reply today form Joao Goncalves. Now I’m setting up a small experiment (for next week or so) to see if I can efficiently eliminate genomic DNA from my samples, and if that works I’ll go ahead and find some primers.
This why it all takes so long: you have everything all planned out, and nothing can possibly go wrong, but then you have to do more troubleshooting. Grr.
